What is AliThomasGB?

I started my professional life as a history researcher for TV documentaries. I love investigating the problems, questions and stories of our shared history.

My current social project explores the history of London and the UK.

Whether it’s “Why doesn’t South London have any tube stations?” or “Why isn’t Clapham Junction in Clapham?”, I tackle the tricky trivia in a fun, engaging and entertaining way.

My principles for content are simple:

  • Make it relevant. Address the problems of the present, with the answers from history

  • Make it fun. The subject matter is often serious, the delivery doesn’t have to be

  • Show don’t tell. So many of these places still exist, take my audience to them.

Now, I’m using the skills and experience I’ve learnt from my career and pet projects to help organisations achieve their goals.

Together, we can make more than content.
